One of the things I have really learned the last few years, is that life moves. Very few things are solid, very little can be predicted, most things are in motion, in transition, in progress. One should be very careful with being categorical. 

When Nik and I broke up a year ago, one of my close friends asked me, Do you think there are chances you can get back together again in the future?, and very quickly I stated a big fat NO, almost annoyed by her even asking me that. It seemed so out of the question, we were tired of struggling. It felt like such a release to make that decision, so going back sounded like a bad idea. We were at the end of the road. 

Little did we know that there was another road there. One with a different landscape, a different wind, a different feel, other colours. One where we could reinvent our relationship and see each other anew, wiser and more grounded, and yet more playful and with a different focus. 

We are back together. It feels right. 

What a humbling experience this life is. And fun!
